How to become a writer in the blog:

You will need a google account and an email address that goes with it. Send the email address that you use to access google tools to Ella Kallio (ella.kallio@tamk.fi), and she will send you an ivintation to the blog. Go to your email and accept the invitation as soon as Ella has sent it, as it's not valid for more than a few days.

When writing new posts or adding photos on the blog:

You can either work under your own name or use another screen name.

1. Choose "New Post" in the upper right hand corner.
2. Write and edit, add links, pictures etc.
3. On the right hand column choose: Label -> write your user name, and the topic of your posting separated by a comma! For example: Sisko, learning. You can add as many labels as you think is necessary. Please remember this every time you write a new posting to keep your posts in order.
4. Save and publish.

Using labels is really important to organize the blog so that you will always find what you are looking for. This blog is made in Blogger and it always has the newest post on top. The old posts will be at the bottom and even on a previous page. But, you can easily find even older posts on a topic that you're interested in by clicking on the label that has the key words of that topic. The labels organize all the posts under the same labels, so try to use a label that somebody else has already used if you are posting about the same topic. Your name is as important to include as a label. If we click on your name, we'll find all the posts that you have written. Posts without labels will disappear eventually.

If you add material (videos, pictures etc.) that are not your own, please make sure to check that they are CC-licenced and always give appropriate credit.

A good blog posting is  250-400 words, longer ones tend to tire the readers down so that they won't have energy to comment anymore. Please use this forum for discussion; comment on each other's posts. Your post can also be an audio/video recording or a picture (e.g.MindMap).

The blog is public, which means that anybody can read it. However, to be able to write you need to have an invitation. If you wish to invite a new colleague, please tell Ella and she will send the invitation.
